I just added a 3 1/2″ sohal tang into the tank.  My hippo tang came right up to it to inspect the new neighbor. So far no aggression between the two of them. In fact, they’ve been swimming together and grazing on algae. Hopefully this continues and they live peacefully together.

I’ve recently noticed a few sohal tangs being sold at the LFS’s around here. I’m guess there’s been a few large shipments of fish from the Red Sea and that’s why everyone has these fish. Liveaquaria sells these fish for roughly $150, but I got this guy for $80 locally. Not a bad price at all.   My wife wants to call him RC because Reefcentral’s banner/mascot is the sohal tang. I’m thinking of calling him TMEDFIMT (the most expense damn fish in my tank)! Here’s some pictures, under actinics, during acclimation:
