Here are some photos of my RBTA’s (Rose Bubble Tip Anemones). I started with one and it’s split/reproduced several times. Right now I have three in the display and one, in a basket, in the frag tank. Too bad my stupid Ocellaris’ only host in my hairy mushrooms and not in these. I’ll be adding a pair of true perculas (tank is big enough to have 2 pairs of clownfish) to host these anemones.
Here’s a tip to getting clowns to host in an anemone. When first introduced/acclimated, place the anemone in the same bag as the clownfish. In the bag, they can’t freely swim around. They’ll be more likely to host the anemone when they’re stressed and need a hiding place.
